Night Order Processor / Administrator

Location: Poole, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary:£25,272 per annum / £13.50 per hour

Hours:36 hours per week - 4 nights

Shift Pattern:

Monday:9.00pm-6.00am

Tuesday:9.00pm-6.00am

Thursday:9.00pm-6.00am

Friday:7.00pm-6.00am

30-minute unpaid break per shift.

We are recruiting a Night Order Processor / Administratorto join a well-established food distribution company based inPoole.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, order processing or data entry experience who enjoys working in a busy environment. Accuracy is particularly important, as you will be responsible for processing customer orders received by voicemail and emailready for the following day's operation.

The Role

Working within the Night Sales Office, your responsibilities will include:

Accurately entering customer orders onto the company's computer system.

Listening to voicemail orders and interpreting information accurately.

Processing orders received by email.

Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.

Carrying out general administration, scanning and document preparation.

Assisting with customer price lists.

Responding to queries from the night production team.

Ensuring orders and administration are completed within required deadlines.

Providing additional administrative support when required.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience within administration, order processing, data entry or customer servicewould be ideal.

You should have:

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong data entry and numerical skills.

Excellent listening and communication skills.

The ability to work efficiently and independently during night hours.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.

A reliable and professional approach.

The ability to learn new computer systems quickly.
