We are currently working with a leading FinTech SaaS vendor. With household names for clients and a recent £10m investment now is the perfect time to join them. They are a a Tech for good company that equally have a modern way of working and offer office based, fully remote or hybrid ways of working and have done since 2016. The benefits package is also excellent with generous holiday allowance, healthcare, a personal development budget to spend each year.

They are looking for an SDR to help create a brand new team and function within the business. Ideally you will have 18+ months experience and be someone that would like to progress quite quickly in to a more senior role / team leader / manager position. You will understands how to generate new business opportunities from the ground up and have a excellent knowledge of lead generation and the lead qualification process.

Ideally you will be someone that can work under little supervision and be trusted to do the job required. You will also need to be someone that can bring ideas to the table and be able to suggest where improvements or changes are needed to improve and develop the internal sales function within the business.

You will need to have proven experience and results in a Business Development, Sales Development or Internal sales role. Experience of technology / SaaS, data or information would be a huge benefit. Most importantly though a new business attitude and resilient nature is essential.

What you'll be doing - Sales Development Representative

Prospect and create new leads to increase sales pipeline through both outbound cold calls, emails and linked in messaging and inbound demo requests.

Route qualified opportunities to the sales team by scheduling discovery calls with Account Executives

Possess a strong understanding of the platform, the target market, competition and positioning

Successfully manage and overcome prospects’ objections and rejections

Exceed monthly quota of qualified opportunities

Be a brand champion and educate prospective clients on the value proposition

Experience Needed: Sales Development Representative

18+ months B2B sales experience - ideally within lead generation

Self starter, analytical thinker and entrepreneurial spirit

Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

A highly self-driven sense of motivation

Positive and forward-thinking attitude with a strong work ethic

Strong presentation skills via phone, online and in person

Love to laugh and know how to enjoy the ride

Technical aptitude and the ability to learn new concepts quickly

Organised, strong time management skills
