Responsibilities:
Menu Creation and Execution: Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect our restaurant’s unique identity.
Prepare and cook meals with precision and attention to detail.
Collaborate with the Sous Chef to create new recipes and stay updated on industry trends.
Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
Monitor food production and staff costs.
Order food supplies, ensuring inventory levels are optimal.
Follow the budget set by the Restaurant Manager.
Leadership and Training: Lead and train kitchen staff, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to standards.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
Manage relationships with food distributors and promptly resolve any issues.
Quality Assurance: Ensure standard portions and consistent quality of dishes.
Implement sanitation practices and maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
Passion for Food: You love creating delicious meals and take pride in your craft.
Experience: Previous experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
Knife Skills: Proficient knife skills are essential.
Adaptability: Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
Team Player: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
Desire to Learn: Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic culinary environment.
