Learning and Development Advisor

Location: Home based - travel required across the region - including Colchester, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Birmingham, Cheshire

Salary: £30,896

This exciting opportunity, within the social care sector, involves working closely with managers and teams, identifying learning needs, delivering high-quality training, and helping to create a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

About the Role

Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, you'll work collaboratively to identify learning needs, plan, deliver and evaluate impactful training programmes, ensuring colleagues have access to the skills, knowledge and support they need to provide outstanding services.

Key Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with services to promote learning and development opportunities.

Conduct training needs analyses and develop annual learning plans.

Advise and guide managers and employees on learning and development opportunities.

Support national learning initiatives and organisational change programmes.

Work with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure high-quality learning experiences.

Review and update learning materials to keep content relevant and engaging

Monitor learning outcomes and use data to drive continuous improvement.

Support manual handling training programmes in partnership with specialist advisors.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A relevant Learning & Development qualification or equivalent experience

Experience in facilitating learning and development training programmes

Experience working within a social care environment ideal but not essential

Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practice preferred

Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills

Experience delivering virtual and online learning

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

A proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach
