Architectural Technologist / Architectural Technician role

Ready to take the next step in your career as an Architectural Technologist?

Having successfully placed a Senior Architect with this client they're now actively looking to recruit their next talented colleague.

Established and reputable central Sheffield based practice is looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist/Technician ASAP. Due to a steady increase in project workload they're actively seeking a talented Architectural Technologist/Technician with around 2-4 years' experience to join their 20 or so strong team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants exposure to projects at different stages of the design and delivery process.

What you'll be doing

  • Working across multiple projects simultaneously - predominantly within the retail, commercial and residential sectors
  • Supporting projects from concept through to delivery
  • Producing technical drawings and design information
  • Collaborating with colleagues, clients and consultants
  • Bringing ideas to life using industry-leading software

What we're looking for

  • 2-4 years' experience in an architectural technologist or technician role
  • Experience working on projects at different stages of development
  • Strong AutoCAD skills (essential)
  • REVIT experience (desirable)
  • SketchUp and/or Enscape 3D visualisation skills
  • Experience using NBS and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required

Working arrangements

  • Based in central Sheffield
  • Minimum 4 days per week in the office (due to the level)
  • Full-time office-based induction and training for the first 3-4 weeks to help you hit the ground running

What you'll receive in return

  • Salary: £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience
