Job Description

Job Title: Architectural Technologist

Ref: BM299

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established national RIBA chartered practice who provide a wide range of expertise to the education, healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors. They are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Architectural Technologist to join their Birmingham studio.

Duties for the role of Architectural Technologist include:

  • Work alongside the project team and deliver large-scale projects from inception through to completion
  • Prepare design stake risk assessments and detailed design information
  • Produce documents for statutory approval authorities
  • Administer contract and project certifications

Skills and experience for the role of Architectural Technologist:

  • Relevant degree within Architectural Technology
  • Working towards or has achieved CIAT membership
  • Strong post qualification experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
  • Proficient with Revit
  • Managed large-scale projects across various sectors
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Excellent technical detailing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham area
  • Full UK Driver's license
