It seems like there’s less on offer from employers this month, when it comes to average advertised salaries.

Comparing March ’19 February ’19 Scotland, the North West and North East are the only areas to have increased. Scotland increased the most by £561, from £31,070 to £31,631.

Even London is down, albeit only by £175 to £41,346.

Wales has seen the highest decrease with it’s salary falling by more than £1100, making it drop from £31,108 to £29,941.

Abi Bradshaw, Marketing Executive at Allthetopbananas.com said: “Wales has been a really strong performer in terms of offered salaries for the last six months.  So it is surprising to see the region have such a drop. It will be interesting to see what happens for Wales and the rest of the UK after a decision on Brexit is made”.
