The starting salary for a graduate software engineer is £27,000 and with experience you could earn up to £38,500. Senior software salaries typically earn around £50,000.

You will be working at the forefront of a fast-paced industry that is constant innovating and developing. Depending on who you work for, the role can be extremely varied so you will never be bored.

Are there chances of promotion?

You can progress to become a senior software engineer or lead software engineer, overseeing a wider team. In the future you could move into a project manager role and after numerous years’ experience you could become an IT consultant.
