Team Manager - Food Manufacturing

Location: Thrapston Shift: 06.00-18.00 includes working every other weekend

Salary: DOE £35-38

Hours 40 per week

We're looking for experienced Team Manager's to lead a team of colleagues in a variety of duties to ensure the levels of supplies to customers are delivered on time and in full.

Our client would like the team manager to provide a culture of learning, creating an environment where colleagues work to defined collective goals and KPI.

This is a fast paced role and only for those up for a challenge!

Your Time at Work

Key responsibilities

- Lead, coach and motivate a team of line leaders and Front Line Colleagues to achieve daily plan and KPI targets

- Ensure full compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and site standards, taking prompt action on deviations.

- Champion health & safety on shift: risk assessments, safe systems of work, incident reporting and near-miss closure.

- Manage shift handovers, allocate labour, and coordinate priorities.

- Be accountable for people management including recruitment, engagement, performance and disciplinary processes.

- Monitor time and attendance for colleagues and enter details accurately to ensure payroll is processed correctly.
