Job Description

Siamo Recruitment is currently looking forateam manager to start at their prestigious client's site based in Corby, NN18.

The shift pattern: Full Time

Rota: Monday to Friday

Shifts available:

10am-7pm,£13.79 per hour

Overtime: £20.68 per hour

Responsibilities

Prioritise workload of the team, responding positively to daily operational challenges.

Assist the Warehouse Team Manager in the allocation of work to the team, ensuring daily KPI's are met.

Monitor daily picking and packing to ensure accuracy of stock is in accordance with company procedures.

Ensure Goods-in are received correctly and made available in accordance with deadlines and service level agreements.

Ensure that the team are following warehouse processes at all times and escalate performance concerns.

Monitor staff punctuality including break times, reporting any issues to the line manager.

Make sure that any stock discrepancies are reported immediately.

Perform daily, weekly and monthly warehouse checks, complete and file documentation.

Monitor & maintain health & safety in the warehouse.

Ensure all logistics areas are organised and housekeeping standards are maintained as per the Company policy.

Provide warehouse operatives with the training and support required to do their tasks.

Deliver communication briefings so that all are aware of all company issues and that employees are able to offer input/improvements and feel involved.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.

Strong understanding of key warehouse processes, including Goods-In, picking, packing, and inventory control.

Proven ability to track and achieve operational KPIs and maintain stock accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver briefings and coach team members.

Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.

Solid computer literacy (experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office/Excel).

Strong decision-making skills and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Reliable with excellent punctuality and attendance.
