Working in IT at Kuehne+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine. We are looking for a skilled Solution Architect (Technical) to join our Global Contract Logistics IT team. In this role, you will design and guide end-to-end Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures. You will play a critical role in translating business needs into technical solutions while driving innovation, integration, and operational excellence across our global logistics landscape.

How you create impact

• Design and deliver robust technical architecture blueprints, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term system integrity.
• Lead integration strategies across WMS and enterprise platforms (ERP, TMS, automation), enabling seamless data flow and performance.
• Drive solution quality through strong governance, testing frameworks, and resolution of technical defects and system issues.
• Support successful system implementations, including deployment, hypercare, and continuous optimisation.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and architecture standards.

What we would like you to bring

• Strong hands‑on experience with WMS systems (ideally Blue Yonder) in contract logistics or 3PL environment.
• Expertise in system architecture, integrations, data models, and technical solution design.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations and end‑to‑end supply chain processes.
• Experience with testing frameworks, performance optimisation, and technical problem‑solving.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
