Solution Architect (Technical)

Job Description

Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with WMS systems, ideally Blue Yonder, in a contract logistics or 3PL environment.
  • Expertise in system architecture, integrations, data models, and technical solution design.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, performance optimisation, and technical problem-solving.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver robust technical architecture blueprints, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term system integrity.
  • Lead integration strategies across WMS and enterprise platforms such as ERP, TMS, and automation, enabling seamless data flow and performance.
  • Drive solution quality through strong governance, testing frameworks, and resolution of technical defects and system issues.
  • Support successful system implementations, including deployment, hypercare, and continuous optimisation.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and architecture standards.
