Job Description

Salary: £32,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within an IT support environment
  • Good knowledge of Windows and confidence supporting macOS users
  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting computers, devices and peripherals
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including user accounts, licensing, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues logically from start to finish
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing requests
  • You must reside in and have eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line support across hardware, software, connectivity, printing, meeting rooms and mobile devices
  • Set up and configure laptops, desktops, phones and other equipment, including enrolling Windows devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot and supporting Apple devices through MDM
  • Manage IT requirements for joiners, movers and leavers, including Microsoft Entra ID accounts, licences, groups, mailboxes, Teams access and MFA
  • Provision and manage access to business systems including NetSuite, Shopify and Sigma
  • Maintain the companys hardware asset register, warranties and stock of equipment
  • Support the 3CX telephony platform and provide first-line support for the companys UniFi office network
  • Monitor important operational data processes and investigate failed, rejected or mismatched records
  • Support GDPR requests, user-access reviews and good security practices around devices, access and account offboarding
  • Create clear internal documentation and identify repetitive or inefficient processes where improvements can be made

We are a growing business based in Bracknell, and we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to work closely with our IT Manager in a varied, hands-on role. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.30pm, primarily based in our Bracknell office with one flexible day working from home. We offer a salary of £32,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, company discount, office engagement events, in-house training and development, a workplace pension and free on-site parking. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge, take on more responsibility and develop your skills in a supportive, fast-moving environment.
