Learning Support Assistant - Worksop

Academics (the second leading education agency in the UK) are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support local primary schools across Worksop on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing one-on-one and group support to students, ensuring they receive the attention and assistance they need to thrive.

Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Supporting students with special educational needs and adapting resources to meet their individual needs.

A passion for supporting others through education and training.

Monitoring the safeguarding of pupils.

Requirements of working as a Learning Support Assistant:

Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

An enhanced DBS certificate and the right to work in the UK.

A Cache / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning is desireable.

Six months or more experience working within a classroom setting.
