THE ROLE

The position requires an outgoing personality that can deal with customers via phone and email in a polite and friendly manner. The applicant will need to develop a good understanding of our products in order to give the correct help to our customers. You will be required to work in a busy environment at a fast pace, using your own initiative and skills alongside your training to solve customer issues. After a 2-week training period you will be required to answer phone calls and emails from customers in a professional and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responding to customer enquiries, pricing requests, order/delivery information and basic technical requests by telephone and email.

Supporting internal sales staff as well as our trade stockist network with product training and advice

Processing returns and refunds

Working with the team to manage multiple team mailboxes.

Accurate entry of Quotations and Sales Orders for spare parts sales, ensuring delivery dates are met

Investigating and resolving invoice queries.

Working with delivery partners to resolve delivery issues

Processing warranty claims and managing costs

SKILLS (THAT WOULD BENEFIT THE APPLICANT)

Experience in an office-based Customer Service role is essential

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Friendly, confident and eager to learn and keep developing knowledge of the company's products on a daily basis

Knowledge of Microsoft Navision is beneficial but not required as training will be given.

Excellent telephone manner and accurate keyboard skills.

Flexible and enthusiastic individual able to work under pressure and use own initiative.

PC Literate and numerate, proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word and Teams.

Demonstrate creativity and adaptability.
