We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic engineering team within a modern FMCG manufacturing facility. This role offers the opportunity to manage a maintenance manager, a large engineering team, a controls engineer, and a team leader, focusing on enhancing planned maintenance, production, and all site engineering activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

Lead and develop a skilled team of engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.

Oversee planned preventative maintenance and coordinate engineering projects to improve system reliability and performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning to enhance production processes and reduce downtime.

Promote and ensure high standards of health and safety across the site.

Manage and mentor direct reports including a maintenance manager, controls engineer, and team leader, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Supervisor within a manufacturing environment, ideally in FMCG.

Strong background in Engineering.

Qualified in an engineering background

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams and complex engineering projects.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.

Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving operational excellence.

Must be commutable to Sutton, South London.
