Business Development Executive

I am working with a local company who are searching for a Business Development Executive to join their team.
Customer satisfaction has been at the forefront of their business since 2002, providing high quality products to the area they operate in.
Job Responsibilities:
You will be working as part of the business development team to bring in new business and provide the current clients with great account management.
* Processing customer orders and upselling products to every customer
* Becoming a product expert to be able to provide clients with a great service
* Bringing in new business through a variety of different avenue
* Recognise customers potential for further business
* Organising direct and inbound deliveries through suppliers to complete all orders.
* Checking every Purchase order to ensure stock availability and discounts available.
* Checking all orders for error
* Managing current accounts to ensure they have no questions - introducing them to knew products when available
* Speaking with customers on the phone and by email to process all orders coming in
* Pro-actively calling suppliers to see what discounts can be applied to each order
* Taking ownership of complex orders and liaising with the relevant departments
* Reporting any financial discrepancies to the finance team
* Keeping up to date with various sales inboxes
