Job Description

Are you a detail orientated individual with experience of using Xero? Do you have a passion for accounting? Are you Leicester based with experience in either Industry or Practice? If you can answer ‘Yes’ to these questions, then you should apply for this role.

THE COMPANY:

This company is a well-established dynamic accounting firm committed to providing exceptional financial services to a diverse range of clientele. They are a small practice who place a great amount of value on teamwork, professional growth, and a client-centric approach. They are currently seeking a motivated and experience Accountant to join their team.

THE ROLE:

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients with their accounting needs. You will be using Xero on a daily basis and be preparing a set of accounts. Tasks will include:

* Managing and maintaining client records using Xero

* Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statement and cash flow statements.

* Conducting bank reconciliations.

* Providing support during audits.

* Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for this role, you need to have hands-on experience of using Xero and possess a solid foundation in preparing a set of accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow their career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
