Role Summary
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious sales revenue growth objectives. They must be self-motivated and driven to achieve KPIs and be comfortable pro-actively contacting customers to sell the benefits of us and our products. As the first point of contact for new customers, you must be confident about presenting and selling the benefits.

Responsibilities

Contribute to company sales targets through outbound proactive sales calls.
Achieve sales-activity KPIs and time deadlines set by the Head of Business Development
Engage with and convert incoming leads in a timely manner
Re-engage dormant customers to re-invigorate sales through their account
Use tools available to you to proactively approach installation companies who do not currently purchase through us.
Develop and maintain trusting relationships with a portfolio of clients, existing and new
Gain a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and sell accordingly
Expand relationships with existing and new customers by continuously proposing solutions thatmeet their objectives and ultimately grow sales
Understand product portfolio to be able to suggest alternatives where required
Diligent and timely call recording and use of our CRM
Provide customer training on the reseller portal via the telephone &/or Teams
Ensure continuous development of own product, industry knowledge and selling skills
Provide competitor intelligence to the wider team
Validating orders to consider supply restrictions and risk to business
Handling objections
Supporting other departments in line with business needs.

Understanding of Solar PV and our associated products, or the ability to quickly learn about this relatively technical product set.
