Design Engineer

Position: Design Engineer Location: Thame, Oxfordshire Salary: £36,000 - £46,000 - Depending on experience Design Engineer required. Our client is a growing and innovative equipment manufacturer based in Thame, Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Design Engineer to join their collaborative R&D team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the full product lifecycle, developing bespoke mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions from concept through to manufacture. Design Engineer Position Overview Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Working closely with procurement and production to support sourcing and quality control Support new product development through prototyping, 3D printing and collaboration with external suppliers. Collaborating with the design team to contribute solutions and bespoke designs for customers requirements Design Engineer Position Requirements 2+ years of experience within an Electrical or Mechanical Design Engineering role Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering / Design related subject is desirable Based in a commutable distance of Thame, Oxfordshire Proficient with the use of 3D modelling software, ideally Solidworks Experience with AutoCAD is desirable A knowledge of pneumatics and electrical boards / wiring is advantageous Design Engineer Position Remuneration £36,000 - £46,000 - depending on expeirence 37.5-hour working week (Monday-Friday) Ongoing training and development Bonus scheme Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
