Role: Operations Manager – Industrial Components Manufacturing
Sector: Aerospace, Automotive, and Defence
Location: Close to Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Remuneration: £65,000 to £85,000 basic salary + car + personal bonus
The Role
An established industrial components manufacturer supplying high-quality parts to the aerospace, automotive, and defence sectors is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead their Nuneaton site. This is a pivotal role at an exciting time for the business, which is about to embark on significant capital expenditure projects that will greatly enhance manufacturing capabilities and capacity on site.As Operations Manager, you will lead a management team responsible for day-to-day production and operational excellence. You will oversee resource planning, process improvements, and quality assurance, ensuring the business meets demanding sector standards while driving efficiency and growth. This role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the company as it expands its capabilities and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a management team, fostering a positive, motivated culture focused on performance and continuous improvement.
Oversee all operational activities on site, ensuring production targets are met with the highest quality and safety standards.
Manage the successful implementation of capital expenditure projects, working closely with engineering and supply chain teams to integrate new capabilities.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business growth objectives and customer requirements.
Monitor resource allocation, production scheduling, and cost control to maximise efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO9001 and AS9100, maintaining the quality expected by aerospace, automotive, and defence clients.
Act as a key liaison with senior leadership, providing regular operational updates and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the management team and wider workforce.
