Continued investment in equipment, production capacity and people means they are looking to strengthen the maintenance function with Mechanical, Electrical and Multi-Skilled Engineers.Retention within the engineering team is excellent, with engineers benefiting from strong salaries, funded development, progression opportunities and one of the strongest benefits packages in the local engineering market.Mechanical Engineers can be supported through electrical qualifications to develop towards multi-skilled capability, while further technical qualifications including HNCs can also be funded.What You'll Be DoingCarrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide variety of heavy industrial and automated production equipment.Electrical fault finding across three-phase systems, motors, drives/inverters, control panels, sensors, relays, contactors and PLC-controlled machinery.Mechanical maintenance and fault finding across hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors and associated production equipment.Working on specialist equipment including vacuum and induction furnaces, robotics, automated material-handling systems, autoclaves and CNC machinery.Diagnosing faults logically and working to minimise production downtime.Completing planned preventative maintenance within a well-established maintenance culture.Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning as continued investment is made across the site.Contributing to continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, production output and safety.Working alongside a large and experienced engineering team within a safety-critical manufacturing environment.What's In It for You?Salary up to £57,500, depending on shift and skill level.Days and 12-hour continental shift opportunities available.Enhanced overtime with excellent additional earning potential.Up to 10% employer pension contribution.6x annual salary life assurance.Excellent sick pay provision.Annual company performance bonus.25 days annual leave + bank holidays, with Christmas shutdown days not deducted from annual leave.Funded technical training and qualifications.Opportunity for mechanically biased engineers to gain electrical qualifications and develop towards multi-skilled engineering.Further development including HNC-level qualifications.Long-term progression within a large engineering function.Excellent engineer retention and long-term job security.What We're Looking ForA recognised Level 3 engineering qualification or apprenticeship.Experience maintaining industrial, manufacturing or production machinery.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability within your respective discipline.For electrical engineers, experience with three-phase motors, control panels, drives, sensors and PLC-controlled machinery would be particularly relevant.For mechanical engineers, experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, bearings, gearboxes and larger industrial machinery would be advantageous.A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and a genuine interest in developing technically.A strong attitude towards health & safety and working within a team.You don't necessarily need to arrive as a fullyJBRP1_UKTJ
