Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Cambridge
UKSalary: £40,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

Role OverviewWe're seeking a talented and driven Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll play a key role in designing, specifying, and delivering mechanical systems that meet client needs while pushing the boundaries of energy efficiency and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and specification of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for a variety of building types
Produce detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders
Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to ensure compliance and quality
Support project delivery from concept through to completion
Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and sustainable technologies
What We're Looking For
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
3+ years of relevant experience in building services design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software (e.g., Hevacomp, IES)
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and CIBSE guidelines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE or IMechE) is a plus.
