We are currently looking for a Technical Administrator

The primary objectives of the role

Delivery of the administrative needs of the technical department. Support for the technologist in managing customer accounts.

Accurate and timely delivery of administrative needs of the technical department

Competence with various retail customer systems.

Independent working.

Confident and concise communication of key data/analysis.

Working well under pressure.

Specification & System Management

Raw materials

Finished Goods

Fulfilling customer system requirements

Checking that B.O.M. (bill of materials) matches range documentation and that range documentation matches specification.

Review of customer systems for updates of Codes of Practice, reviewing content

Reporting

Support the Commercial team with technical input and dialogue.

Analytical reporting of customer metrics

Quality assurance data; collection and dissemination to the wider business Wider responsibilities

Work closely with account teams, Procurement, Production and NPD particularly in relation to customer facing elements e.g., pre[1]productions, specification sign-off, visits and peak support Internal Technical systems.

Support to ensure technical/quality systems remain robust and up to date.

Participation in internal audit schedule and traceability exercises

What you can already do

Good level of higher learning and/or equivalent work experience Full driving licence (Non-essential) High level of IT literacy with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office

Strong administrative, numerical, literacy and oral communication skills Excellent organisational, problem solving and analytical skills.

Enthusiasm and passion for dealing with internal and external customers Strong desire to put customer needs at the heart of the business Resilience - the cut flower business is very demanding particularly during the annual ‘peaks’ e.g. Valentine’s Day etc. High attention to detail good understanding and interpersonal skills
