General Manager Retail – Greater London – £60,000 + package
An exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader to drive the transformation and delivery of a large-scale multi store retail operation, in a single location.
The purpose of the role is to create a more consistent, consumer-led and commercially focused retail model across a complex, fast paced operation.
You will lead and support a team of Store Managers to ensure consistent delivery of brand standards, exceptional customer experiences, and compliance with landlord and operational expectations. This role requires full-time site presence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to maximise performance, strengthen capability, and drive operational excellence.
Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards and an exceptional customer experience across all store locations.
Analyse sales and operational performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvement.
Support the successful implementation of new initiatives, promotional campaigns, and operational changes across the region.
Inspire and motivate store teams to deliver outstanding customer service while achieving sales and operational targets.
Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising to ensure efficient store operations.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, brand standards, and operational policies.
About You
Senior retail leadership experience within multi-site environments.
Proven track record of retail transformation and commercial growth
Strong expertise in category management, pricing and retail formats
A people centric leader
Commercially driven, consumer-focused and data-led
Strong stakeholder management and change leadership capability
