We are currently looking to recruit an experienced, passionate Sous Chef to support the Head Chef at a busy and well established site within an exciting gastro pub group.

Salary of up to £40,000 depending on experiences
48 hr week
5 days working with set days off

The Place
Our client is an award winning gastro pub group with multiple sites around Surrey and Berkshire. This site is based in a village in Windsor and has a great reputation! From filleting whole fresh fish to butchering beautiful meats, their food and service is fresh, seasonal and innovative. With around 80 covers and a garden terrace it is a beautiful country pub full of character.
The Person
The successful Sous Chef will have the following:
Experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment, ideally at AA rosette level
Classically trained
Experienced in whole fish filleting, meat butchery, fresh soups and stocks
The ability to manage the team and run service in the absence of the Head Chef
Adaptable and flexible approach to the changing menu and guest requests
Be local or have own transport is a must as the pub is not on a public transport route
