Who we’re looking for

Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years’ contentious probate experience

Able to manage your own caseload independently

Strong client-care, communication and negotiation skills

Experience handling disputes involving wills, probate and Inheritance Act claims

Ambitious, commercially aware and excited about building a team

Skilled in mediation, negotiation and resolution-focused litigation

Confident advising executors, beneficiaries and trustees

Strong relationship-builder with empathy and professionalism

What you’ll be doing

Manage a varied contentious probate caseload

Advise and represent clients at all stages from pre-action to court proceedings

Draft pleadings, witness statements and settlement documents

Lead negotiations, mediations and litigation strategy

Work collaboratively with a supportive litigation department

Develop internal and external referral networks

Help shape and build a dedicated contentious probate team

Contribute to department strategy, client development and service delivery
