TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Flying Start setting in Newport, providing early years support and learning opportunities for pre-school children aged 2-4 years. The setting is focused on creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn, develop and build their confidence.

The setting is looking to take on a Level 3 Nursery Assistant on a part-time, term-by-term contract from September, working afternoons from 12pm until 3:30pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children with their learning and development, engage them in age-appropriate activities and help provide a positive and supportive early years environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
Experience working with children aged 2-4 years
Knowledge and understanding of early years development
A nurturing and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability and a ‘can-do’ attitude
