With a commitment to progression and innovation, this is a great place to work for any Maintenance Engineer looking to develop their technical skills and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the maintenance department.Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery, including automated assembly cells, injection moulding machines, and hydraulic presses.The role will also involve electrical installation work, including armoured cable installations, lighting, power installations, and supporting new plant and equipment installations throughout the site.This is a hands-on, proactive role where you will play a key part in maintaining machinery reliability, minimising downtime, and ensuring the smooth running of the manufacturing facility.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• Apprentice-trained or equivalent, holding at least an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Maintenance or a Multiskilled Engineering discipline.

Desirable Requirements for the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working with injection moulding machines, hydraulic presses, and automated assembly equipment.
• Experience maintaining conveyors and associated manufacturing machinery.
• Experience in panel wiring and electrical installations.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Experience working within a UK manufacturing environment.

Working Hours

The role operates on a 36-hour working week, Monday to Friday, on a double-day shift pattern: Monday to Thursday: 06:00–13:30 / 13:30–21:00. Friday: 06:00–12:00 / 12:00–18:00. During the probationary period, working hours will be 08:00–17:00 to support training.
