General Manager - Business Development

Are you a commercially driven engineering with a proven track record of winning business and growing international markets?

We're looking for a General Manager to drive the global growth of a specialist engineering manufacturer supplying high-performance valve solutions into the oil & gas, hydrogen and carbon capture sectors.

This is a business development-led position focused on expanding global sales, developing new markets and strengthening distributor and end-user relationships. You'll identify and convert major project opportunities, negotiate commercial agreements, and play a key role in growing revenue and profitability across international territories.

What You'll Bring

Strong business development experience within the valve, flow control or wider engineering sector.
Technical understanding of industrial valves and associated products.
Knowledge of the hydrogen and carbon capture markets is highly desirable.
Experience managing international distributors and developing global accounts.
Excellent commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills.
