Job Description

On behalf of one of our key partners, we now have a new opportunity for a Lead React Engineer to join a project based in Sheffield. The initial contract is for 6 months, with potential for extension.This role is to start ASAP and will require hybrid working (2–3 days per week in the office in Sheffield).Specific skills/experience required:Strong experience building production-grade web applications using ReactProven ability to debug and enhance existing codebases, including layout fixes, feature improvements, and defect resolutionStrong understanding of frontend architecture and system design, including state management, component design, data fetching, caching, and performance optimisationExperience delivering accessible and inclusive user interfaces (WCAG-aligned practices)Strong knowledge of testing approaches (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and overall code quality best practices
