Technical Engineer – IT Operations

Implement and monitor cloud solutions for performance, cost, and security

Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to implement robust security measures

Develop automation scripts for efficient cloud resource management

Provide technical guidance on complex Azure infrastructure issues

Stay current with Azure services and assess their relevance to the business

Document and maintain cloud architectures and configurations

Manage backup and recovery processes in collaboration with the team

Conduct system installations, configurations, and upgrades

Help define technical standards and support protocols

Assist the IT Service Desk with hardware, software, and networking issues

Take ownership of assigned technical projects

Support mobile device management and app deployment

Requirements

Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)

Experience with Intune deployment

3+ years working in Azure cloud environments, ideally within professional services

Strong grasp of cloud computing and emerging tech trends

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Experience with Meraki Wireless and switching

Experience with Sophos XG Firewalls

Experience with Sophos Endpoint Protection

Experience with Mimecast

Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive under pressure
