Financial Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consumer business operating across multiple sales channels and international markets based in South Manchester.
We are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to take ownership of the numbers end-to-end, combining strong technical finance expertise with the ability to turn financial data into clear, actionable commercial insight.
Few businesses move at this pace, bringing huge opportunity alongside complexity - this role is about understanding the numbers and, importantly, helping shape what the business does with them.
This is a broad and influential role, covering management reporting, forecasting, margin and profitability analysis, month-end, balance sheet control, statutory reporting and financial controls. You'll work closely with senior leadership and teams across the wider business, improving processes, strengthening reporting and ensuring finance plays a central role in commercial decision-making.
The ideal candidate will be qualified, with experience in a fast-paced, founder-led business. You'll have strong management information and commercial analysis experience, be confident working with large data sets, and have the ability to communicate financial performance clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
