Technical Services Manager – London

A leading international construction contractor is growing its London technical services team and is looking to appoint a Technical Services Manager ahead of a strong pipeline of major projects.

The business delivers complex commercial, workplace, hospitality and specialist projects across London, with schemes ranging from significant fit-outs through to major developments valued in the hundreds of millions.

The opportunity would suit a TSM who is comfortable operating at different levels depending on the project. On a major scheme, you could be part of a wider team of Technical Services Managers with responsibility for specific areas or packages. On a smaller project, you could take full ownership of the MEP delivery from design through to completion.

The Role

You will be responsible for the technical delivery of MEP services, working closely with project, design, commercial and construction teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading MEP design coordination and technical delivery

Managing M&E subcontractors, consultants and specialist suppliers

Reviewing design information, drawings and technical submissions

Managing RFIs, technical queries and design development

Supporting procurement and package strategy

Coordinating MEP installation with the wider construction programme

Identifying and resolving technical and programme risks

Managing testing, commissioning and handover

Providing technical leadership to project teams and junior services staff

The Opportunity

The upcoming pipeline includes major projects across Central London and other key London locations, covering high-value commercial, workplace, hospitality and specialist environments.

You could find yourself working as part of a large technical services team on a major project or taking full technical ownership of a smaller scheme — making this a role that can suit different levels of project experience.

Package up to £100,000 + bonus, depending on experience.

We're interested in speaking with established Technical Services Managers, as well as strong M&E Project Managers or Senior Engineers ready to make the move into a TSM position.
