IT Security Manager

We’re working with an international technology-led group to appoint an IT Security Manager to support and develop its Group-wide cyber security, governance, risk and compliance strategy across Europe.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll help shape security standards, strengthen cyber resilience and build a strong security-first culture across a growing organisation.

The role

You’ll work closely with senior IT leadership to:

Develop and implement Group-wide IT & Cyber Security strategy

Own security policies, governance frameworks and risk registers

Lead cyber risk assessments, remediation and incident response

Oversee external security partners and supplier security audits

Lead annual penetration testing and security awareness programmes

Support Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 and similar frameworks

Improve security monitoring, logging and SIEM capabilities

Support business continuity, disaster recovery and acquisition due diligence

Produce clear security reporting for IT and business leadership

The technology

You’ll work across a modern security environment including:

Microsoft Azure, Intune, Okta, Zscaler, SentinelOne, Mimecast, Tenable, KnowBe4, SD-WAN, SIEM

About you

We’re looking for an experienced IT/cyber security professional with a strong background in security governance, risk and compliance, ideally within a multi-site or international environment.

You’ll bring:

Experience developing IT security policies and governance frameworks

Strong Azure security and cloud governance knowledge

Experience with Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 or similar

Practical knowledge of security technologies and SIEM platforms

Cyber security risk and incident management experience

Excellent stakeholder and communication skills

A commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused approach

Willingness to travel within Europe when required
