With over 1,000 employees and a £150m turnover, we're growing—and now looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to play a key role in our project delivery teams.
The Role As the Electrical Supervisor you'll be supervising and overseeing electrical teams and subcontractors on this Water project. You'll also be coordinating with mechanical and civil disciplines, ensuring compliance with UK electrical regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and delivering electrical works safely, on time, and to specification. What You'll Be Doing 1) Team Supervision & Leadership Oversee electrical operatives and subcontractors on site.
Allocate work based on competence, project priorities, and programme requirements.
Monitor productivity, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior electrical staff.
2) Electrical Installation & Project Delivery Oversee installation of electrical systems including containment, cabling, control panels, MCCs, motors, pumps, instrumentation interfaces, and power supplies.
Ensure electrical works comply with design drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical, and process teams.
Support electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities.
3) Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Enforce site health, safety, and environmental procedures in line with UK legislation.
Ensure compliance with Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statement briefings.
Ensure safe isolation, lock-off, and permit-to-work procedures are followed.
Investigate and report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices.
