Hours: Mon - Thurs - 08.00 - 16.25 Fri - 08:00 - 15.50
Salary Range: £34,000pa - £36,000pa depending on experience
Contract Type: Full time – Permanent

Key Responsibilities include:
Supporting and advising the Management team on all areas of employment legislation and its direct impact on the workplace
Continually developing and implementing Policies and procedures that comply with employment legislation and enhance employee relations.
Ensuring that all employment policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently across the workplace
Coordinating the recruitment of hourly paid and staff positions across both facilities
Supporting with disciplinary, grievance, consultation on terms/ conditions changes, absence management and other employee related meetings
Reviewing, developing, and promoting Company benefits to all employees
Supporting the management of positive Industrial Relations across the facility, including Collective bargaining negotiations, policy consultation and regular communication updates
Providing guidance to employees on their terms and conditions of employment and issues changes to terms and conditions where required
Providing training to new and existing Managers, on all key Human Resource matters including new Policies and Procedures
Supporting a range of workplace development and improvement projects, including but not limited Safestart and DEI.
Working with the wider HR and management team to identify and implement improved structure and traceability of employee training.
Candidate Requirements: ·
Essential:
Proven experience of working as a proactive HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment
Experience of working with Trade Union Representatives and promoting positive industrial and employee relations
A solid understanding of employment law and how to implement into company Policy and Procedure
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage a range of stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, lead on activities where required whilst also being a key contributor to the wider HR Team
Ability to handle sensitive information in a professional manner and have an understanding of GDPR requirements
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce quality work within set timeframes.
Sound organisation skills with the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
Proven IT skills, with the ability to use all Microsoft Office functions and experience of working with HR Management systems.
Advantageous:
Previous experience of working with some of the following software - Workday, ADP, Kronos, and SAP
A formal qualification in Human Resources such as CIPD Level 3 / 5 (or equivalent)
As this role will require interaction between the Company's two sites, the successful applicant must be willing and able to travel for business purposes.
