M&E Supervisor – Static Site

£50,000 per annum basic plus £4,800 call out allowance

Opportunity for a building services maintenance supervisor to work client direct at a large static site in Hatfield.This is an ideal role for someone with an understanding of building services maintenance, compliance and health and safety management.This position is working days, Monday – Friday, paying a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum, with benefits package and on call allowance of £4,800 per year on top.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee a small team of electrical and mechanical HVAC engineers, providing technical support where necessary.
• Inspecting of completed ppms and reactive works on building services plant.
• Compliance management, updating and checking of site log books.
• Supervision of specialist sub-contractors when on site.
• Hands on when required on building services plant such as lighting, emergency lighting, AHU’s, FCU’s etc.

Qualifications/Experience required for this role:

• Formal trade qualifications, backed up by an apprenticeship, in either electrical or mechanical engineering such as City and Guilds or NVQ.
• Previous experience working in the facilities maintenance sector.
• Previous supervisory/team leader experience is highly desirable, however our client will consider experiencedengineers that are looking for the opportunity to step up to a supervisory role.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of up to £50,000 per annum. 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to a maximum of 27 days with services). On call requirement 1 week in 5. Matched pension contributions up to 5%.
