Salary: £120 - £135 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive schools across Leeds who are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a supply basis. These schools are committed to creating positive learning environments where pupils are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The schools are looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary supply basis, with permanent opportunities available for the right Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be expected to support classroom teachers, deliver pre-planned lessons, provide intervention support, and maintain strong classroom behaviour management across a variety of settings.

The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:

HLTA qualification or relevant classroom-based experience

Experience supporting pupils within UK schools

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

The ability to deliver engaging lessons across different year groups

A proactive and adaptable approach to work

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
