Control Systems Engineer

We are recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer to join a growing global engineering organisation, delivering complex automation and control system projects for some of the worlds leading industrial clients.Working across the full project lifecycle, you will be involved in everything from PLC software development and system design through to testing, commissioning and customer handover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering team delivering varied and technically challenging automation projects.What You Will Be DoingDeveloping and modifying PLC control softwareDesigning and configuring HMI and SCADA systemsProducing technical documentation and control specificationsSupporting software testing, system integration, FAT and SAT activitiesCarrying out commissioning and fault-finding activities on customer sitesWorking closely with electrical, instrumentation and project teamsLiaising with customers throughout project delivery and handoverSupporting continuous improvement and standardisation initiativesWhat We Are Looking ForExperience as a Controls Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Automation Engineer or PLC EngineerStrong PLC programming experiencePrevious commissioning experienceUnderstanding of industrial automation and control systemsAbility to interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentationStrong problem-solving and communication skillsDesirable ExperienceSiemens or Rockwell PLC platformsHMI and SCADA developmentIndustrial communication protocols and networksExperience working within industrial or process environmentsWhat Is On Offer?Salary of £55,000 - £65,000Involvement across the full project lifecycleVaried and technically challenging projectsOpportunity to work with major industrial clientsCollaborative engineering environmentCompetitive benefits package
