Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager as an Assistant Accountant you will be involved in various accounting tasks, contributing to the smooth financial operations of the company;
Assisting with month-end and year-end financial close processes
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction
Reconciling bank statements and account
Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and budget
Posting daily receipt
Provide KPI information in relation to the customer's ledger
Managing customer credit limits by company policy
Managing on a day to day basis the invoice discount facility, and monthly reconciliation
Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and project
Profile
The successful Applicant will have:
Qualified AAT or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or relevant accounting experience
Good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel such as Vlookups or Pivot tables
Job Offer
Salary up to £30,000 per annum
