Where is the role?
Our client is a brilliant, growing business who are looking for a new Assistant Accountant to join their team. Reporting into the Management Accountant, this role gives great opportunity for growth and expansion of skills within a supportive environment.
What will I be doing?
The role will include:
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports,
Performing monthly bank reconciliations,
Collaborating with senior members of the finance team to create budgets and financial forecasts.
Supporting with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Where will I be based?
The role is based centrally in Manchester so you must be prepared to travel but the business does offer a hybrid model, therefore, once settled into your role, you'll only need to be in the office 3-4 days per week. Hours-wise, the business are happy for you to start from 7am - 9am and finish 3pm - 5pm.
What do I need?
We're looking for someone who is AAT Qualified or a Graduate, who has at least two years of experience working in finance.
