Lead Electronics Engineer

They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.You will be involved in:Take responsibility for the design, development, and support of mixed electrical/electronic solutions from concept to completion following a detailed phase-gate development processDefine processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of the electrical/electronic hardwareProvide technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selectionFacilitate the development of functional and physical design requirements to ensure complete integrated design architectureDesign and development of electrical/electronic circuitry (includes, analogue, digital, microprocessor, FPGA design techniques and power electronics)Analysis, test and evaluation of electronic/electrical circuits and componentsElectrical/Electronic circuit simulation and analysisThe ability to produce technical documentation to support all activities, from trade studies, requirements documentation, compliance evidence and test documentationFormal Electronic qualification such as HNC/HND/BEngExperience of Electronics Hardware Design & Electrical Product Development for Harsh EnvironmentsElectronic analysis of derating, stress, and toleranceExperience of Schematic Capture, PCB Layout and IPC awareness (Preferably Altium)EMC Awareness at product and PCB levelAwareness of Def-Stan/Mil Standards, Safety and Quality processesAbility to support and manage aspects of Assembly, Integration, and TestExperience of working with lab test equipment, JTAG design, and debug of electronic circuitsExperience of Windchill or other Product Lifecycle Management tools
