**Please note a UK driving license and access to transport will be essential as you will travel to different sites.
The day to day
Maintaining network infrastructure and other IT services of schools within the trust.
Handling any IT related queries that arise and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
Providing on site IT support to all students, staff and stakeholders.
Providing remote IT support where necessary.
Installing and testing all software/hardware.
Assisting the schools in making the best use of technology available to them and work in partnership with the Trusts IT team to develop and nurture IT provision.
You will have/be
Proven IT support experience.
Experience in supporting network operating systems, equipment, cabling and infrastructure.
Strong IT knowledge including Microsoft Office suite, Windows, WAN and internet topologies with technical experience in desktop computers and peripherals.
Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with end users to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
Strong problem solving skills.
The ability to prioritise your workload and to work autonomously.
