Financial Controller

Job Description

Lead the day-to‑day financial accounting function and ensure delivery of a high-quality finance service.

Prepare annual statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and charity regulations.

Description

  • Lead the day-to‑day financial accounting function and ensure delivery of a high-quality finance service.
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and charity regulations.
  • Manage the external audit process and act as a key contact for auditors.
  • Collaborate with UK and international finance teams to support financial governance and reporting.

Profile

qualified accountant (or equivalent).

Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and Charity SORP.

Proven experience preparing statutory accounts and managing external audits.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret technical accounting guidance.

Job Offer

  • Up to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
