Finance Administrator

Job Description

Birmingham | Fixed Term Contract (6 Months) | QA Higher Education

About the Role

QA Higher Education (QAHE) is looking for a proactive, detail-driven Finance Administrator to join our vibrant team on a 6‑month fixed term contract.

If you have a Purchase Ledger background and enjoy working in a fast‑paced finance environment, this role offers a great opportunity to build hands‑on experience and make an impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing end-to-end agent commission claims and payments
  • Validating commission and bonus claims against contracts and incentive schemes
  • Handling queries from internal teams and external agents
  • Raising purchase orders and performing supplier reconciliations
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and commercial analysis

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience within Purchase Ledger
  • Communicates confidently with internal and external stakeholders
  • Is proficient in MS Teams, Outlook, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
  • Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Is comfortable working with large data sets
