Job Description

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Clacton-on-Sea - September Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Clacton-on-Sea, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential within a positive and inclusive educational environment.

The school is looking for a caring and committed individual with strong communication skills, effective behaviour management strategies, and a genuine desire to support children's academic, social, and emotional development.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location - Clacton-on-Sea
Position - Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Type of work - Classroom and individual pupil support
Start date - September
Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
Full time/part-time - Full time
Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work, or similar setting (placements accepted)
Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs is desirable
Relevant LSA, Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or Education qualifications are advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child-related references OTHER INFORMATION
