Macmillan Davies are delighted to once again be partnering with this global healthcare business in their search for a HR Advisor to join their site based in Leeds. You will be joining an organisation that is passionate about both their employees and to also making a positive impact to people's health around the world. You will operate in a stand-alone capacity as the sole HR person on-site, in a manufacturing type setting, but you will work closely with the wider HR team based at other locations. This is a full-time position, with flexibility on start/finish times and applications for a reduced working week will also be considered.
About the role:
Providing first line generalist HR advice on employment law, HR policies and procedures.
Managing employee relations cases from start to finish including sickness/absence, disciplinary, investigations, grievances.
Coaching, guiding and upskilling managers.
Ensuring an efficient and effective recruitment service and a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
Support on the full employee life cycle
Collate and produce regular HR reporting metrics
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Strong HR Advisory experience gained in a generalist role including employee relations
Experience of working in manufacturing/supply chain (or similar blue-collar industry) would be preferred
Excellent communication and listening skills
Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders
Resilience and ability to influence effectively
A collaborative and team focused approach
What's on offer:
Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 .
