Shifts: Monday-Friday (Days and Afters) 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing business in Dudley to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer . In this role, you will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a heavy manufacturing facility by executing reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and equipment upgrades. You will play a critical role in minimizing production downtime and improving machinery reliability across a fast-paced, high-tonnage production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical faults on heavy industrial machinery under time-sensitive breakdown conditions.

Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to optimize equipment reliability and longevity.

Log all maintenance tasks accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Adhere strictly to safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work systems, and risk assessments

Conduct detailed shift handovers to communicate ongoing maintenance challenges and spare parts requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Apprentice-trained or NVQ Level 3 (or local equivalent) in an Electrical Engineering discipline.

Relevant electrical regulations certification (e.g., 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations in the UK or NEC equivalent

Previous hands-on electrical maintenance experience within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment (e.g., steel mill, foundry, paper mill, automotive plant, heavy chemical site)

Strong fault-finding and analytical skills under operational pressure
