Electrical Maintenance Engineer Telford Days Monday to Friday £48,000
Electrically biased, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer required for a maintenance role at a large, long-standing Telford based manufacturer. Offering competitive salary, excellent overtime availability and additional earning potential. You will be joining a diverse team of engineers from various sectors and become a valued member of the engineering team on the companys day shift.

JOB OUTLINE

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will provide electrical breakdown cover on automated fast-moving equipment as well as the service and repair of production equipment in line with FMCG policies and safe working procedures.

THE ROLE:

Continuous improvement of equipment, supporting PPM activities to a high standard
Provide day-to-day electrical and mechanical breakdown support for the production team, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum
An active position in generating ideas for improvement, whilst ensuring current plant/equipment is maintained to a high standard
Electrical fault-finding to a high level
Installation of new machinery and control panels .

THE CANDIDATE:

Strong Electrical Maintenance Experience within a manufacturing/production environment
Experience in fast-paced working environment essential
A team player with plenty of ideas and enthusiasm and able to work under pressure.
Open-mindedness to learn new techniques & technology.
Excellent electrical fault diagnosis skills
Formal qualifications to NVQ, C&G or ONC, HNC desirable
PLC/Automation experience desirable but not essential
Time served apprenticeship in electrical discipline advantageous
